She runs artist retreats from her guesthouse, Cafe Tissardmine; a place where creatives can immerse themselves in a culture and environment very different from their own, where there are no deadlines, commitments or obligations and where true Moroccan hospitality abounds.

Ait Ben Haddou, a traditional Berber city, was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. Made from adobe from the surrounding desert, this ancient city has featured in many blockbuster movies and TV shows (think of the unsullied and Russell Crowe’s ripped gladiator biceps…)
We managed to clock 4000 steps wandering through the alleys and up and down the mud stairs to the top of the hill and back.
